OUR MISSION
At Gorleston Apiary, we believe in the power of beekeeping as a sustainable and enriching endeavor. Gorleston Apiary was created from Grandfather & Grandson (Peter & Jamie) starting a new hobby of beekeeping and has now evolved into an idea and cause with great ambitions to grow even further.
Our mission extends beyond beekeeping alone; we are dedicated to educating the broader community on the essential role that bees play in our ecosystem. We offer workshops, talks, and educational resources to help people understand the significance of bees and how they contribute to a healthy environment. From pollinating our gardens to producing honey and beeswax, bees are vital to our local ecosystem, and we're here to share that knowledge with you.
Beekeeping is not just about honey production; it's also about practicing responsible and sustainable beekeeping methods. At Gorleston Apiary, we emphasize the importance of sustainable practices that ensure the well-being of the bees and the environment. We provide guidance on eco-friendly beekeeping, which benefits both the beekeeper and the planet and encourage local businesses to use our services to contribute to their own sustainability initiatives.
